COLLEGE VISIT PROCEDURES
- Students are allowed one (1) college visit per semester (2 each school year).
- Before you go, check with the college you would like to visit to make sure the day/time you want to visit is available. Most colleges require you to register for a visit. This information can be found on the college's website.
- Have the college's admissions office write on their school letterhead that you were there for a college visit on that day. You will also need a parent/guardian letter stating you were on a college visit.
- Turn both forms into the Attendance Office within three (3) days of your visit so the day will not count as an unexcused absence.
- SCCCANGO offers free opportunities to meet with college representatives in September, October and November. As a way to provide even more opportunities to place college representatives in front of interested students, CHE has asked the colleges for some college-specific nights where students could log on and get assistance directly from the college they are applying to. Visit sccango.org to sign up for these opportunities if interested.
